gleem

Read and edit a folder of Markdown notes in one terminal app, kept in sync with git.

The notes folder on the left, the note rendered on the right, and the footer saying it is synced.

Notes in plain Markdown, in a git repository, usually means one tool to read them and another to edit them. gleem is both: it renders a note, and e edits it where you were reading.

Every save commits that note and pushes it in the background. Offline, the commits wait and the footer counts them. The same note changed on two machines is never merged behind your back — gleem keeps your version and says so.

Point it at any other folder, a project's docs say, and it reads and edits there without touching git at all.
